     Ashley Feltman is a native of Florence, Alabama, and considers it a privilege to call the Shoals home. Her deep connection to the community, combined with her varied professional and legal experience, allows her to understand the unique needs of the individuals and families she serves.

      Ashley began her undergraduate studies at the University of North Alabama, where she was a Lionette with the Pride of Dixie Marching Band. She later transferred to the University of Alabama, where she participated in the football recruitment program and served as a staff writer for The Crimson White. Following graduation, Ashley worked as a communications officer in law enforcement. Her experience in law enforcement provided her with valuable insight into the criminal justice system and continues to serve her well in her legal practice.

     Ashley earned her law degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, where she attended on scholarship. During law school, she developed a particular passion for trial advocacy and was heavily involved in trial competitions, both intraschool and as a member of Cumberland's nationally ranked trial team. She also competed on Cumberland's arbitration team and served as an executive member of the school's Trial Board. Her academic accomplishments included receiving the Scholar of Merit Award in Advanced Writing, earning the highest grade in Advanced Trial Skills and Advocacy, and being named to the Dean's List.

     While in law school, Ashley clerked for two prominent personal injury firms in Birmingham. These experiences provided her with invaluable exposure to litigation and the demands of preparing a case for trial. Combined with her trial advocacy training at Cumberland, her experiences helped lay the foundation for her approach to practicing law: thorough preparation, effective advocacy, and a commitment to her clients.

     Ashley is a Partner at the Law Offices of Holt, Mussleman & Feltman, where she practices general law with an emphasis on divorce and family law, juvenile law, wills and estates, and civil litigation. She has represented clients in a variety of complex and personal legal matters and has developed a particular interest in advocating for children and families. Since 2019, Ashley has maintained her certification as a Guardian ad Litem, giving her the opportunity to advocate for the best interests of children both inside and outside the courtroom. She has also tried three jury trials to verdict.

     Ashley is committed to remaining current with developments in legal technology and the evolving practice of law. She brings together strong writing and courtroom advocacy skills with a practical understanding of the legal process, striving to provide each client with knowledgeable, prepared, and personalized representation.

     Ashley has remained actively involved in the legal community. In 2026, she was selected to participate in and graduated from the Alabama State Bar's Leadership Forum. She served as President of the Lauderdale County Bar Association in 2024 and 2025 and currently serves on the Association's Executive Board. She is also a member of the Family Law Section and Solo & Small Firm Section of the Alabama State Bar.

     Outside of the practice of law, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, Jacob, their two daughters, and their playful dog, Milly. As a lifelong member of the Shoals community, Ashley is proud to serve the people and families of the area she has always called home.
